OUR
TROOP
Troop 479 is part of the Black Mountain District in the San
Diego-Imperial Council. Our chartering organization is the
American Legion, Post 479. We are comprised of scouts living in
the Poway, Ramona, Scripps Ranch areas, but all boys are welcome.
Our troop is full of scouts and leaders who love to have fun while
embodying the scout law, oath and motto.

ANNOUNCEMENTS:
5/30: We need volunteers for a fundraiser at Sony:
8am - 2 pm. Call Mr. Schloeder for time slots.
There is a series of training day-hikes
scheduled over the next few months. Please plan on attending
at least 2 training day-hikes before the Baden Powell trip
or the Sierra Trip. Come with a fully loaded backpack (at
least 25-30 lbs), boots, etc. We'll be hike from 6am to
no later than noon for each hike. Call Mr. Kreitz or look
at the Outing Schedule
